Small business owners don't have a back office. The "office" is the front seat of the truck, a corner of the kitchen, a glovebox full of receipts, and a spreadsheet that gets updated the night before taxes are due. Every bookkeeping tool we tried assumed you had a desk, a desktop, and a free afternoon.
So we built TabKeeper: bookkeeping that fits into the gaps of a working day. Record the day's sales before you lock up. Snap the invoice the moment it lands. See exactly who owes you — and who you owe — before you take the next job or place the next order.
And because some owners would rather never think about books at all, we pair the app with real bookkeepers who handle setup, monthly maintenance, and year-end — all the way through CPA tax coordination.
Mobile-first
Not a desktop tool squeezed onto a phone. Every screen is designed for one thumb and thirty seconds.
Plain language
Money in, money out, who owes what. No debits, credits, or journal entries unless you want them.
Real humans
When you want help, it's a bookkeeper who knows small business — not a chatbot or a knowledge base.
TabKeeper is a bookkeeping software platform operated by Tabkeeper Inc. It is not a CPA firm, law firm, bank, or financial advisor, and nothing in the Services or in support responses constitutes accounting, tax, legal, or investment advice. Tax returns are prepared by an independent licensed CPA or qualified tax professional. Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor — full card numbers are never stored on TabKeeper systems. Bank connections are provided read-only through Plaid; TabKeeper never receives or stores your bank login credentials. Customer data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled anytime in your account settings; fees are non-refundable except as described in the Support, Billing & Refund Policy or as required by law.
